Mode Projects was last night awarded a Master Builders Association (Vic) Excellence in Housing award for Best Custom Home ($600k to $800k). The awards are a recognition of a commitment to excellence and outstanding craftsmanship in the building profession.
Projects of this kind are once in a lifetime. We were blessed with a great site, good weather, and a client who was prepared to take a punt on a bold design. Credit also goes to our contractors who go above and beyond to execute our grand plans, work with innovative materials and perform work at the highest standard.
The irony of building homes is that in performing our job we are often called to spend a lot of time away from our own homes. This award also goes to our support network of family and friends, and spouses in particular; without their unwavering support, these grand plans would never make it off the page.
